We believe that every child entrusted to us needs a safe and secure home, and a nurturing family to grow up to be a self reliant and successful adult. Most of the children at SOS have suffered abuse, neglect or trauma and have medical and/or mental health conditions. SOS Children's Villages provides wraparound services with the intent to break the cycle of family violence, abuse and poverty that prevent children from becoming strong, self reliant individuals. Every effort we make is another step towards protecting more children and strengthening their families. The generosity of donors like you allows SOS Children's Villages to offer comprehensive, quality services to children and families.

Matching Gifts
Many employers generously choose to match the charitable contributions of their employees, and the impact of your gift can be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies will also match the value of your volunteer time or match gifts made by retirees and spouses.
The Matching Gift Program is one of the smartest ways to increase your giving. Did you know that you and your employer can both claim such donations as a charitable gift and save on income tax?
How to participate:
Ask your employer if they participate in a Matching Gift Program.
Obtain your company's Matching Gift Form from your Human Resources department.
Complete the donor section of the form and mail it along with your donation check payable to SOS Children’s Villages Illinois to:
SOS Children’s Villages Illinois
216 W. Jackson Blvd., Suite 925
Chicago, IL 60606
We will do the rest of the processing. Then your company will send a check to SOS Children’s Villages Illinois for the same amount you so generously donated to us.
In-Kind Donations
