We believe that every child entrusted to us needs a safe and secure home, and a nurturing family to grow up to be a self reliant and successful adult. Most of the children at SOS have suffered abuse, neglect or trauma and have medical and/or mental health conditions. SOS Children's Villages provides wraparound services with the intent to break the cycle of family violence, abuse and poverty that prevent children from becoming strong, self reliant individuals. Every effort we make is another step towards protecting more children and strengthening their families. Foster parents are the cornerstone of the SOS Village model. They provide hope and security to children whose families are in crisis and children who deserve a lasting, nurturing relationship with a responsible adult.
