The SOS Illinois Influencer Program aims to leverage social and digital media to help raise awareness, break stigmas, and encourage involvement with our mission. This program will task volunteers to share and create content about us and the larger foster care narrative on social media, blogs, vlogs, podcasts, or more, in order to help shed light on these two important months. If successful, this program will extend beyond April and May and function as a crucial part of our Communications volunteer team, working to bring our message into untapped networks, circles, and communities.
About the Influencer Program
This program will initially run from April through May 2021 in order to spread awareness of our mission during Child Abuse Prevention Month and Foster Care Awareness Month, respectively. If successful, this program will continue throughout the year, helping to spread support and advocacy during other crucial times of our year, such as Family Reunification Month in June, Mental Illness Awareness Week in October, Adoption Awareness Month in November, and more. You may decide to only be involved during these awareness months or all throughout the year, it’s your choice!
After submitting this form, a member of our Department of Communications will connect with you on your interest and share more details of this opportunity.
