“Every child deserves to grow, learn, and dream in a supportive and loving environment. During National Foster Care Month, we recognize the almost 400,000 young people in foster care and the foster parents and dedicated professionals who are in their lives. We also rededicate every child a sense of stability and a safe place to call home.”

In support of Foster Care Awareness Month and throughout the month of May, SOS Children’s Villages Illinois CEO, Tim McCormick, had the opportunity to create public service announcements with WGN Radio, raise awareness for foster care and our village model of care on WLS Radio with “Big” John Howell, and recently recorded an interview with BizCast in partnership with NBC Chicago. Watch soon on NBC’s CEO Spotlight page and be sure to keep an ear out for the interviews.
