We are excited to share a new fundraising event that will take place this November!
The SOS Illinois Gives Thanks event will be held on Thursday, November 2nd from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at The Library located at 190 South LaSalle Street.
This event is an opportunity to gather and celebrate the work of the organization as well as a recognizing a significant supporter through the presentation of the “It Takes a Village” Impact Award.
For his years of championing our mission, this year’s recipient is Board member, Rama Dandamudi, M.D. This inaugural award will be presented annually to someone who has demonstrated the true spirit of a humanitarian by helping to support and spread the word about SOS Illinois’ mission. We look forward to honoring Rama for the extraordinary support he has provided over the years.
It’s commencement season for many throughout the nation, and at SOS Illinois, we are fortunate enough to mark this momentous time for our graduates in a special way.
On Friday, July 14th, 2023, staff, children, Foster Parents, and our extended family (Corporate Partners and Supporters) gathered for a collective celebration of our 2023 graduates at our Lockport Village.
This event is an opportunity to honor and celebrate the children and youth we serve and enjoy being together as a community!
